The 2013 MTV Video Awards To Be Held At The Barclays Center In Brooklyn, NY

For the first time in history, MTV announced that their annual video music awards show will be held in Brooklyn, NY at the newly constructed Barclays Center arena.

The awards which have been traditionally held in LA and at Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan, will make the trek to the the second largest borough in NYC, where the music network will live tape their 30th anniversary show.

Its been four years since the VMA’s visited the east coast; the last time being in 2009, so fans should expect alot of surprises this year as this the biggest thing to happen in Brooklyn since the New Jersey Nets relocated to the city, and owner Jay-Z performed an eight-night residency during his inaugural concert series in the fall of 2012.
