I was very disappointed with this episode. It was not at all edgy and many of the sketches (such as the tea sketch) were very predictable and repetative. The sketch with Kristen Wiig with the grand prize winner was already done in the Emma Stone episode and the commercial for the noise machine to help you sleep was actually shown in a previous episode (I think it was the Bryan Cranston episode). It really has been a bad season. The one shining point was last week’s Dana Carvey episode. That was so much fun!
Oops. The ‘black noise’ machine was repeated in the Dana Carvey episode. I have been gone for over a week and trying to catch up on all my DVR stuff
I need to go back and check the Dana Carvey one. I know there can be true gems embedded in there – but they’re just so difficult to find. lol
I thought the Dana Carvey one was pretty good. Although, some of it might have been nastalgia. I mean, they did Wayne’s World (Mike Myers showed up), Church Lady (with a funny appearance by Justin Bieber) and Job Lovitz even showed up!
