‘Gotham’ Casts Bruce Wayne and Selena Kyle

Warner Bros. Television and FOX have announced that 13-year-old David Mazouz (Touch) will play Bruce Wayne in Gotham. Camren Bicondova (Battlefield America) will play Selena Kyle, who grows up to become Catwoman.

Wayne is described as “not a playboy-by-day, vigilante-by-night, but a preteen who has been sentenced to a solitary life after his parents’ tragic murders.” Selina is a “teen orphan who is suspicious and wholly unpredictable. A skilled pickpocket and street thief, [she] is pretty dangerous when cornered.”

The series stars Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon, Donal Logue as Detective Harvey Bullock, Zabryna Guevara as Captain Essen, Erin Richards as Gordon’s fiancee Barbara Kean, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot (aka The Penguin), Drew Powell as Butch Gilzean, and Jada Pinkett-Smith as Fish Mooney. Bruno Heller (The Mentalist) wrote the pilot script and will be the executive producer. Danny Cannon (CSI) will direct and executive produce the pilot. The show already has a series commitment and will air on FOX this fall.
