FOX Renews ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine,’ ‘The Mindy Project,’ ‘New Girl’ and More!

The Fox Broadcasting Company has announced that they have renewed the sitcoms Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Mindy Project, and New Girl, and the hit drama The Following for the 2014-2015 season. The announcement was made by Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, and Joe Earley, Chief Operating Officer, Fox Broadcasting Company.

Speaking on the announcement, Kevin Reilly and Earley stated: “These shows are some of the best and acclaimed series on television, with influential, culture-driving stars, and some of the best, most creative talent behind the camera. All four are core assets within our 2014-15 portfolio of content, and we’re really happy to bring them back to our FOX fans for another season.”

These renewals will mean a second season for Brooklyn Nine-Nine, fourth season for New Girl and a third season for The Mindy Project. The Following will receive its third season as well.

New episodes of New Girl and Brooklyn Nine-Nine will be premiering on March 11. The special one-hour Spring premiere of The Mindy Project airs on Tuesday, April 1. An all-new episode of The Following debuts on Monday, March 10.

  1. Brooklyn Nine-Nine always seemed like the type of show to get cancelled after one season. I think it would have been if it didn’t win Golden Globes out of nowhere. Honestly, I’d be perfectly fine if all those shows were cancelled if it meant one more season of Almost Human.
