Shailene Woodley on ‘Divergent’ Set: There Was A Lot Of Partying
Cast members of Divergent apparently knew how to party! The police had to be called to a few of their parties during filming.
The science fiction film features stars including Shailene Woodley, Zoe Kravitz and Miles Teller and the young cast were eager to enjoy their time off while shooting in Chicago, Illinois.
Woodley has revealed the group threw such loud parties that nearby residents called the police to complain about the noise.
She recently told the New York Post gossip column Page Six, “There was a lot of partying, and I think the cops did get called a few times. When you work long hours you want to hang out on Friday night and be loud, it’s not really fair to the people next door when they’re like, ‘It’s 4 a.m., shut the f**k up.'”
When asked about the challenges of managing a cast of young actors, director Neil Burger said, “They were constantly on the verge of getting kicked out of their hotel.”
