Will Ferrell In Serious Talks To Join ‘The Office’ As A Regular

Will Ferrell’s four-episode stint on hit show The Office has everyone talking. But could his time on the show become a little bit more permanent?

“You know, we’re talking about it,” he said. “It would be a cool thing. We’re just seeing.”

And though cast member Kate Flannery admits that “there’s no replacing Steve Carell,” she thinks Ferrell’s time on the show is going to be something special, and wouldn’t mind if the situation became a bit more permanent. “He’s amazing, but I feel like we’re so taken care of and the fact that Will Ferrell is going to come and do four episodes with us is just, I mean, you couldn’t ask for a better transition. [Ferrell is] such a lovely guy and so hilarious. I’m either trying to stop crying or trying to stop laughing.”
