NBC’s ‘The Event’ Might Be Headed To Syfy

Fans of the NBC’s The Event may have some good news in the future. Word has it that the series might continue on Syfy as a miniseries, and possibly as another season if that miniseries is successful.

Netflix had previously showed interest in The Event as well. But talks are underway now between the two media siblings, Universal Media Studios and NBC, to see if the possibility could become a reality. One of the biggest issues to address is if this move is actually financially achievable. Syfy would be a great fit for a series like this if they could work out the financial issues.

    Oh please let SyFy or Netflix pick The Event up!!!! Love this show and the second half of season 1 and the finale was so good!!!
