Robin Thicke Goes All Out For Paula Patton At Billboard Music Awards

Robin Thicke has been in the public eye lately as he’s made his way across the US performing while simultaneously attempting to woo back his estranged wife, actress Paula Patton. Those efforts continued last night when Robin debuted an emotional new song called ‘Get Her Back’ at the Billboard Music Awards last night.

The singer has been trying to reconcile with the actress, his childhood sweetheart, ever since news of their split hit headlines in February.

He made a string of public pleas for a reunion with Patton at a number of his concerts in the aftermath of the separation news, and he has since poured his heart into the lyrics of a new track in his latest bid to woo her back.

Thicke, who was not wearing his wedding ring, premiered the tune at the Las Vegas awards ceremony on Sunday, when he crooned lines including, “I gotta treat her right/ I gotta cherish her for life/ I gotta get her, go get her, go get her, go get her back tonight”.

He also made sure to express his gratitude to Patton as he accepted his first two honours of the night for Top R&B Song and Top Hot 100 Song for ‘Blurred Lines’, telling the audience, “Most importantly, I’d like to thank my wife for her love and support for all these years.”

Thicke was also named the winner of Top Digital Song and Top Radio Song for the summer smash hit.

What do you think about Thicke’s latest attempts to win Patton back?
