Marilyn Manson Joins ‘Sons of Anarchy’

Brace yourselves Sons of Anarchy fans, the show is about to get a little more rowdy!

Rocker Marilyn Manson has been cast in the hit FX series as “Ron Tully.” According to the network, Jax,  Charlie Hunam’s character, will use white supremacist prison shot-caller Ron to expand his power base. Sounds like trouble!

While Manson is mostly known for selling millions of records, and being a successful writer and performer, among other things, he’s also got a fair share of acting experience under his belt. Past appearances include Eastbound and Down, Wrong Cops, and  The Tim and Eric Awesome Show. He’s even tried his hand at voiceover work, most recently as The Shadow on ABC’s Once Upon A Time.

So how did Marilyn end up with his Sons role? He grabbed the attention of SOA creator, Kurt Sutter, with the creation of a new album and while launching a world tour.

Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father’s,” said Manson in a statement.  “So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema.  After all, the very heart of SOA is about that relationship.  So, now all I need is a motorcycle.”
