‘Avengers’ Stars To Walk The Runway For Charity

Audience members are in for a special treat next month when The Avengers co-stars, Samuel L. Jackson and Tom Hiddleston, take to the catwalk for The One For The Boys Fashion Ball in London.

In addition to showing off his runway strut, Jackson will double as the evening’s host. The 65-year-old  Pulp Fiction star has been the face and chairman of One For The Boys since 2013. “Men don’t talk about cancer,” Jackson says in the campaign’s PSA video. “It’s not the manly thing to do. Well, I’m here to tell you, it is the manly thing to do. Don’t be dumb – talk about it.”

Jackson says of the event:

“The One For The Boys Fashion Ball is a ‘Blue Steel’ inspired fashion moment. Myself, campaign ambassadors, supporters and nominated individuals will take to the catwalk, modelling fashions donated by top designers to raise awareness of male cancer within the fashion world.”

These top designers include Alexander McQueen, Fendi, and Armani – and those aren’t the only household names to take the stage.

Various celebrities and friends of the campaign will take part, including Shaun of the Dead‘s Simon Pegg, English comedian David Walliams, and Welsh actor Luke Evans.

The charity event will take place on June 15th at the Natural History Museum in London, and proceeds from the gala and silent auction will go towards benefiting male cancer.
