‘Tales from the Crypt’ Reboot Planned

There is a new Tales From The Crypt TV series being planned, and the word is that it will be very different from the HBO series that ran from 1989 to 1996.

The producer of the HBO version, Gil Adler, will be collaborating with Eureka co-creator Andrew Cosby to develop series. Instead of the anthology set-up, this will involve ongoing characters inspired by the comics from the 50’s.

It is being prepared as an hour long show, and they are going to pitch it to broadcast and cable networks.
