‘Grimm’ Gets Full Season

NBC has announced that they’ve picked up Grimm for the full season. The network announced that the show has gotten an order for the “back nine” episodes to make for a full twenty-two episode season. The show has been a surprise success for NBC on Fridays, averaging a 2.3 demographic rating and nearly seven million viewers to date against genre favorites Fringe and Supernatural.

“We are very pleased to be making a full-season commitment for Grimm,” said NBC Chairman Robert Greenblatt. “This series is turning the traditional procedural drama on its head and is attracting a loyal following for us on Friday nights. We love where it’s going creatively and we’re excited to deliver more episodes to our audience.”

Grimm will also get a special Thursday night airing on Dec. 8 at 10 PM in hopes of attracting more viewers. Have you been watching Grimm? Let us know how you like NBC’s freshman series in our comment section below!
