‘Orange is the New Black’ Actress Elizabeth Rodriguez Joins ‘Grimm’

Elizabeth Rodriguez, whom many will recognize as Daya’s mother, Aleida Diaz, from hit Netflix series Orange is the New Black, has joined the cast of Grimm for season four.

She will play FBI special agent Chavez, one of four assigned to investigate the homicide of Agent Weston Steward (C. Thomas Howell). She appears to be no-nonsense but has more invested in the case than anyone knows.

The series returns on October 24 at 9/8c.
