TBS Picks Up Vince Vaughn Produced Comedy ‘Sullivan And Son’

TBS has picked up Sullivan and Son, a half-hour comedy executive produced by Vince Vaughn and starring comedian Steve Byrne.

Byrne stars as Steve Sullivan, a lawyer who quits his job to take over his family’s bar that serves as the unofficial “town hall” of the working-class Pittsburgh neighborhood. Other executive producers include Peter Billingsley (Iron Man) and Rob Long (Cheers) who will also be the showrunner.

The series comes from Vaughn’s Wild West Picture Show Productions and Warner Horizon Television. Byrne, Long and Ted Wass (Rules of Engagement). TBS has ordered ten episodes which will air in the summer.

The barstools at Sullivan’s bar are filled with outrageous, unique characters, and Steve and Rob have created an outstanding world in which they can shine. We are extremely proud of this show and look forward to spending many nights throwing one back with the regulars at Sullivan & Son.”

The cast includes Brooke Lyoons, Dan Lauria, Jodi Long, Owen Benjamin, Brian Doyle Murray, Vivian Bang, Christine Ebersole and Valerie Azlynn.
