Hugh Laurie’s Message For Fans And A Look At The Series Finale Of ‘House’

It’s a wrap! Tomorrow night Fox’s hit series House is finally ending. After an amazing eight seasons, fans have all grown to have a love/hate relationship with Hugh Laurie’s character, but what did Laurie have to say to his fans?

“I feel like I do know House fans quite well.” Laurie said at the House wrap party in LA. “I think anyone who responded to the kind of show that House is, and the kind of character House is… First off, they mark themselves as a person with excellent taste, but my experience of House fans and the House audience – is that these are people of rare intelligence, good humor, and humanity. I think the people that respond to that… well frankly, I like you. I feel as if I know you and I like you.”

So how does Hugh Laurie feel about the finale?

“I feel a huge satisfaction that we got to the end with our dignity intact,” Laurie told press. “I never felt that we did anything that wasn’t true to the character or the show… like House gets a puppy. I think that’s quite an achievement.”

Tomorrow night’s finale, ‘Everybody Dies’, marks the 177 episode of House, and we have a sneak peek at the episode below!

I especially like that last one with the Dead Poet’s Society Reference, a film which House‘s Robert Sean Leonard starred in.

  1. It was definitely a great run. I must admit I wasn’t an immediate fan of the show, but once I understood House’s complicated character, it all made sense.
