CBS Unveils Their 2012-2013 Lineup Including ‘Elementary’, ‘Partners’ And More!

CBS announced their 2012-2013 season yesterday at Carnegie Hall. The network is bringing back a number of fan favorites as well as new series such as Partners, Vegas and the highly anticipated Elementary.

“People keep asking me, ‘Why don’t you want to make room on your schedule?’ It’s because our shows are hits,” said CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler. “We have one goal, and that is just to continue making hit TV shows. We don’t get confused, we don’t get sidetracked. That’s our goal every single year.”

CBS certainly seems to do a good job at making hit television. They’re renewing 19 of their current series for the 2012-2013 season! We have a full list of returning favorites and new series to look forward to below!

And, our new comedy PARTNERS fits perfectly with the CBS Monday night tradition of relationship comedies with a lot of heart and humor.”

  1. I am so glad that CBS is keeping so many of the original shows. For so many of them are ones I would hate to lose.

  2. Yeah CBS hardly ever cancels shows it seems. They do the best job at picking ratings winners out of all of the networks. That being said I think they also reach more homes than a lot of the networks – so that’s part of it. Super excited for Elementary! 🙂

  3. I can’t wait for Elementary! Big fan of Jonny Lee Miller!
Wasn’t to sure about Vegas but after seeing the trailer
I think I’m going to be checking it out. For some reason though Dennis Quaid reminds me of Harrison Ford in it. Partners looks like it’s going to be a ton of fun. Made in Jersey wasn’t really on my radar but now I may give it a try. All I can say is I’m very thankful for DVR’s. 😛

  4. DVRs are a life saver… as is Hulu. haha 🙂 And Jonny Lee Miller…. yeah 😉 I’m right there with you!
