Ashley Madekwe Talks ‘Revenge’ And How Fans Want Her Character Dead

Ashley Madekwe recently chatted with press about her role on Revenge and how fans want her character dead, but Ashley doesn’t take it personally… Quite the opposite actually. She knows if fans don’t like her character… then she’s doing something right.

“I love that people are so invested in the show that the line between fiction and reality is blurred for them! I think having the same name as my character probably doesn’t help matters either.” Ashley revealed, “Everyone on [Revenge] takes great relish in playing a scene a little bit ‘evil’. One of the main themes of the show is the idea that nobody is all good or all bad, and if people want Ashley to die, then I must be playing the ‘evil’ right!”

We couldn’t agree more Ashley! Your character stirred up so much drama last season – that we love to hate her!

Ashley also admits she loves Revenge as much as the fans, because there is just so much possibility for where things can go…

“The best thing about Revenge is that it can go absolutely anywhere. We never know what dark secrets the writers have up their sleeves for us to play.” Ashley told Bello Magazine in a recent interview.
