‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ Official Premiere Date and First Teaser

FX has announced its official premiere date for its fourth season of its critically acclaimed anthology series American Horror Story: Freak Show.

According to FX, this season of American Horror Story: Freak Show begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience.

We’ll be treated to the return of AHS alums including Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Frances Conroy, Jamie Brewer, Emma Roberts and more. New cast members include Michael Chiklis, Pattie LaBelle, Jyoti Amge, John Caroll Lynch and others that have yet to be announced.

The three incarnations of AHS – American Horror Story, American Horror Story: Asylum, and American Horror Story: Coven – each have received 17 nominations, bringing the franchise total to 51 nominations.
