Suge Knight Recovering After Being Shot at Chris Brown’s MTV VMAs Pre-Party

Marion ‘Suge’ Knight is reportedly in recovery after undergoing surgery in the aftermath of a shooting at Chris Brown’s party in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The hip-hop boss was gunned down at the 1OAK nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning during Brown’s star-studded bash ahead of the MTV Video Music Awards that night.

Knight was reportedly shot six times, in the stomach, chest and arm, and was taken to the city’s Cedars-Sinai hospital by ambulance. He later underwent surgery and is now recovering in an intensive care unit, according to TMZ.com.

Two other party-goers were reportedly injured, and one was said to be in a critical condition.

Stars including Justin Bieber, Tyson Beckford and Black Eyed Peas musician apl.de.ap were also at the party.

Brown appeared to address the drama in a post on his Twitter page on Sunday , writing, “It’s disappointing that we as a society can’t have fun or enjoy ourselves without any altercations sometimes. Miss me with the bulls**t!!!”

Reports suggest gunfire erupted in the venue and three people, including Knight, were injured. They were taken to the city’s Cedars-Sinai hospital where one is believed to be in a critical condition.

Brown escaped uninjured, and was seen driving away from the venue in his sports car following the shooting.

A video which appears to show the chaos in the club at the time of the shooting has since appeared online.
