Would You Like to Build Another Snowman? A ‘Frozen’ Animated Short is Coming

The characters from smash-hit Disney movie Frozen are heading back to the big screen for an animated short that will hit cinemas in the spring.

The big news was announced at the end of a ‘making of’ special that aired in America on Tuesday night.

Frozen Fever will be directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, the pair behind last year hit movie, and it will feature a new song written by Oscar-winning songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.

The married couple created instant classic songs like “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” and “Let It Go” for Frozen.

Confirming the news, a Disney spokesman says, “In Frozen Fever, it’s Anna’s birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa’s icy powers may put more than just the party at risk.”

Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad will reprise their original Frozen roles in the new film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
