‘Doctor Who’ Releases First Glimpse of the Christmas Special

Here’s something to tide you over until the long-awaited Doctor Who Christmas Special! The 2012 Children in Need program has released their annual Doctor Who minisode.

As with the last couple of years, it’s a direct lead-in to the Christmas Special itself. There isn’t much of a plot on its own (unlike “Time Crash” in 2007), so I’m sure we’ll be seeing this scene again in about a month and change.

Check out the adorable introduction by Matt Smith and new companion, Jenna-Louise Coleman. I can’t wait to see how they tie in her character from “Asylum of the Daleks.” Let me know what you think in the comments!
