‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’ Stars Reunite for Brunch…and a Third Film?

America Ferrera and her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-stars reunited for a brunch date on Monday.

The former Ugly Betty star, along with Alexis Bledel, Blake Lively and Amber Tamblyn, showed their offscreen friendship still lives on, as they caught up over lunch and delighted fans with a photo of their meeting.

Ferrera posted the selfie on Instagram, along with the caption, “Always a good day when I’m with my sisters #DeLosPantalones (of the pants) Love these amazing women.”

The picture also features Bledel in her first public snap since marrying Mad Men co-star Vincent Kartheiser during a secret ceremony in June.

The original Sisterhood film, based on author Ann Brashares’ series of the same name, came out nearly 10 years ago, and in April, Ferrera hinted that the foursome is eager to reprise its roles for a third installment in the series.

She told Entertainment Weekly magazine that she was hoping author Ann Brashares’ fifth book in the Sisterhood book series could be turned into a movie, explaining, “It picks up 10 years after the fourth book, so the characters are all basically the ages that we are now. I know that the four of us would love it (to make another film), and it would be wonderful.”

The foursome previously reprised its characters for a 2008 Sisterhood sequel, and Ken Kwapis, the director of the original, has signed on to make a third movie, titled Sisterhood Everlasting.

We’d certainly love to see these ladies reunited onscreen!
