‘The Walking Dead’ Star Sonequa Martin-Green Expecting First Child

The Walking Dead star Sonequa Martin-Green is expecting her first child.

The 29-year-old actress, who plays commanding (and still living) character Sasha in the series, and her actor husband Kenric Green are preparing for the birth of a baby boy in January.

The couple met while auditioning for a play in 2009 and Martin-Green tells People magazine, “Kenric and I are beyond excited. There’s nothing like running around fighting zombies in the Georgia heat to stay in shape while pregnant.”

Sonequa is scheduled to appear at this year’s Walker Stalker Convention in Atlanta, where FanBolt has been tapped to host their official Livestream, Walker Stalker Live! and interview cast members from The Walking Dead, The Vampire Diaries and many other shows.
