Ben McKenzie Crashed His Car on the Way to ‘Gotham’ Set

Ben McKenzie has become Hollywood’s most accident-prone star – he crashed his car just days after smashing his forehead on the set of new TV drama Gotham.

The former The O.C. star was on his way to tape an episode of Ellen when his vehicle collided with another motorist.

On the show McKenzie explained, “She pulled out in front of me. She was taking an unprotected left (turn) and I slammed on the brakes… She had no idea (who I was)… She was lovely.”

The actor was hospitalized on September 12 after accidentally slamming his head into a wall.

Ben’s new show Gotham premiered on FOX last night and now that we realize how accident-prone the poor guy is, we’re genuinely concerned for his well-being while working on such an action-packed series! Someone get this man a giant bubble stat!
