George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin Reportedly Ban Cell Phones from Wedding Ceremony

George Clooney and his fiancee Amal Alamuddin have reportedly banned cell phones from their wedding in Venice, Italy.

The couple has ordered all guests to keep phones away from the event to stop any information leaking about the highly-anticipated affair, according to British newspaper The Daily Telegraph.

The star and his bride-to-be do not want tablet computers or cell phones present as unauthorized photographs could surface and the official rights to the wedding pictures have reportedly been agreed with Vogue magazine.

There have also been reports of officials in Venice closing some streets and walkways to help avoid any unwanted public attention or mobbing by fans.

Alamuddin and her mother, Baria, arrived in Milan on Wednesday in preparation for the big day.

The nuptials are rumored to be a three-day spectacular taking place this weekend with star-studded guests including newlyweds Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Sandra Bullock and Matt Damon.
