Matt Damon Never Thanked Jennifer Love Hewitt for Inflatable Bed

Jennifer Love Hewitt once sent Matt Damon a top-of-the-range inflatable bed as a gift.

The star was touched by an interview she read, during which busy Damon complained about not having a bed he could call his own – and she decided to do something about it.

She explains, “Matt Damon and Ben Affleck had just blown up big time and so I knew who he was… and he said this really sad thing in the article about how all of his dreams were coming true in the business and he was working really hard but he didn’t ever really feel… he had a bed of his own; he was just traveling so much.

“I remember being really busy also and thinking, ‘That’s so sad…’ For some reason I thought an Aero-bed would help… In my head, I was like, ‘Oh, he could travel with it and then it’s always his bed. It’s always his safe place…’ I didn’t go over it with anyone… but I didn’t.

“He was in Paris filming something… I sent it to Paris and I never got a thank you… It made me sad in my heart. I understand maybe his security never gave it to him.”
