Captain Morgan Black Spiced Rum Cocktails Inspired By ‘The Walking Dead’

With the highly-anticipated season 4 premiere of The Walking Dead coming up this Sunday, October 13, it’s time to start planning a zombie viewing party inspired by the AMC drama!

What lies ahead for Sheriff Rick Grimes and his team of survivors looks ominous as alwasy, but our friends at Captain Morgan are offering some aid to fans! They have whipped up a few deadly concoctions using their signature Black Spiced Rum for all the zombie-attack survivors to sip, while watching the new season of The Walking Dead.

The recipes are:

Black & Buried

Ingredients

• 1 oz Captain Morgan Black Spiced Rum
• ½ oz Zwack Liqueur
• 3 Blackberries
• 4 oz Cola
• 1 Lemon Wedge

DIRECTIONS

1. Add blackberries to a cocktail shaker and crush with a spoon.
2. Add Captain Morgan Black Spiced Rum, Zwack Liqueur and shake vigorously.
3. Strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice and top with cola.
4. Garnish with a Lemon Wedge.

The Walker

Ingredients

• 1 oz Captain Morgan Black Spiced Rum
• ½ oz Stirrings Espresso Flavored Liqueur
• 3 Dashes Chocolate Bitters
• 5 oz Cola

DIRECTIONS

1. In an ice filled collins or rocks glass combine all the ingredients.
2. Stir to blend.

Woodbury’s Harvest

Ingredients

• 1¼ oz Captain Morgan Black Spiced Rum
• 2½ oz Apple Cider
• 1/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

DIRECTIONS

1. Combine all the ingredients in a shaker with ice.
2. Shake well and strain into an ice filled collins glass.
3. Garnish with apple slices.
