How Much Did ‘Game of Thrones’ Bosses Spend to Keep Lena Headey’s Nude Scene Private?

Game of Thrones bosses have reportedly spent $200,000 to keep Lena Headey’s nude scene under wraps ahead of broadcast.

The actress peels off for a key moment in the hit show’s upcoming fifth season, the infamous “Walk of Shame” scene from the books, but the shoot had already caused controversy when local officials in Dubrovnik, Croatia refused permission for filming inside a church.

The big moment was eventually captured over four days but producers paid $50,000-a-day to protect the shoot from prying eyes, according to TMZ. Also according to the site, only 4 crew members were present during the time of the actual shoot.

Editors at the website report Game of Thrones bosses hired 200 security guards, banned cell phones, and paid local business owners to close for the duration of the shoot.

The new season of the TV hit is due to air next year.
