‘The Walking Dead’ Star Norman Reedus to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award at Horror Film Festival

The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus is set to be feted with a lifetime achievement award at the New York City Horror Film Festival next month.

Festival organizers are honoring the actor for his “strong dedication to the craft” and for creating “new heights and depths” as crossbow-toting Daryl Dixon in the zombie series.

Before starring in the hit show, Reedus appeared in a number of thrillers, including Blade 2, The Boondock Saints, and Guillermo del Toro’s Mimic.

Also receiving a special award is actor Angus Scrimm, best known for his role as the evil Tall Man in 1979 cult classic Phantasm.

The New York City Horror Film Festival kicks off on November 13.

Norman will also be appearing at Walker Stalker Con in Atlanta this weekend and FanBolt will be sitting down to interview him. If you have any questions you’d like to ask him, leave them in the comments below!
