‘Game Of Thrones’ Cast Member Promoted to Series Regular (Spoiler)

Winter is coming in just a few months for our favorite HBO drama, Game of Thrones. While the premiere date for the fourth season hasn’t been announced yet, HBO has already secured another cast member for a fifth season as a new series regular.

Michiel Huisman (Nashville, Treme) is set to appear in the next season of Game of Thrones as Daenerys’ love interest Daario Naharis. Huisman has already signed a deal with the network to return as a series regular if there is a fifth season (which who are we kidding – of course there will be)!

Huisman is replacing the originator of Daario from Season 3, Ed Skrein.

  1. Unless they completely retcon his backstory and make him look completely different he still won’t be an accurate Daario. I don’t know why they saw fit to make him look so different than how he is in the books. At the very least he won’t look so baby-faced now.

  2. I hate to admit this – but I haven’t read the books. I know I need to! 🙂 How different is he in the books?
