Bryan Cranston Unbothered by ‘Breaking Bad’ Action Figure Petitions

Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston has shrugged off an online petition calling for action figures based on the hit TV series to be removed from a children’s toy store.

Susan Schrivjer from Florida created the petition last week urging bosses of children’s chain store Toys ‘R’ Us to stop selling the character models from the drug dealer show because they represent “a dangerous deviation from their family friendly values”.

Schrivjer notes that the Walter White figurine is holding a gun and a bag of crystal meth, the drug Cranston’s character makes and sells in the adult drama.

However, Cranston is not taking the petition seriously, and has posted a joking message on Twitter writing, “‘Florida mom petitions against Toys ‘R Us over Breaking Bad action figures.’ I’m so mad, I’m burning my Florida Mom action figure in protest.”

The petition has gained more than 6,000 signatures.
