Hugh Jackman Receives Treatment for Third Skin Cancer Scare

Hugh Jackman has undergone treatment following a third skin cancer scare.

The X-Men star had a basal cell carcinoma removed from his nose last week, according to a representative who confirmed the news to Gossipcop.

Jackman was spotted sporting a bandage on his nose during a walk in New York City on Sunday.

The Australian heartthrob first discovered a cancerous growth on his nose last year and underwent surgery to remove it. He underwent a second procedure in May.

At the time of his second scare Jackman said, “I’m realistic about the future and it’s more than likely that I’ll have at least one more but probably many more, which is not uncommon for an Aussie particularly from English stock growing up in Australia where I don’t remember ever being told to put sunscreen on. But the beauty of this is it’s all preventable, it’s just about getting proper check-ups.”
