‘Batman Vs. Superman’ Stars Ben Affleck and Amy Adams Support the Save the Bat Campaign

Batman Vs. Superman stars Ben Affleck and Amy Adams have thrown their support behind a campaign to save endangered bats.

The actors appear alongside the film’s director Zack Snyder in a public service announcement video for National Save the Bats week to help raise funds to fight white-nose syndrome, a disease which is killing the mammals.

Affleck, who plays the Caped Crusader in the film, says in the clip, “Essentially, these bats are on the verge of completely dying out – not only would we lose an extraordinary species, the death of our bats would be catastrophic to our ecosystem.”

Adams adds, “I was definitely afraid of bats before and had an idea that they were creepy, but they have a lot of personality, actually. They’re quite charming!”

Snyder and Adams were filmed helping build bat habitats and decorate them in unique Batman and Gotham designs.
