Chelsea Handler Boycotting ‘Sexist’ Instagram

Chelsea Handler is boycotting Instagram after administrators twice deleted a topless photograph of her.

The comedian was lampooning Russian president Vladimir Putin when she was photographed riding a horse topless in a wooded area. Putin was photographed in a similar pose in 2009.

When Handler first posted the image, she attached the caption, “Anything a man can do, a woman has the right to do better. #kremlin.” Regulators at Instagram cited their nudity guidelines before removed the shot.

The enraged star then took to Twitter to post a screenshot of the image, writing “Taking this down is sexist. I have every right to show I have a better body than Putin.” (NSFW Link!)

After posting the shot on Instagram for a second time, the funnywoman grumbled about her rights, stating, “If instagram takes this down again, you’re saying Vladimir Putin has more 1st amendment rights than me. Talk to your bosses.”

Following the deletion of the second post, Handler went on to declare she would exclusively use Twitter as she feels censored on Instagram.

She added a caption to a picture of her two dogs, writing, “You can now find my dogs and my breasts on Twitter only where my followers have the right to choose what they say (sic). Bye bye instablock.”
