Christian Bale Pulls Out of Steve Jobs Biopic

Christian Bale has reportedly pulled out of talks to star in director Danny Boyle’s upcoming Steve Jobs biopic.

The Dark Knight star became the frontrunner to portray the late Apple Computer co-founder in the film adaptation of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Walter Isaacson’s bestselling biography after Leonardo DiCaprio dropped out of the project to make The Revenant.

Last month, screenwriter Aaron Sorkin confirmed Bale was set to take on the role, but negotiations were still ongoing and now he has reportedly exited the project because he did not feel he was the right fit for the movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

A replacement for Bale has not been announced, but actor Seth Rogen has been approached to portray Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak in the film.

Now that Bale has pulled out, who do you think would make a good replacement to portray Steve Jobs in the biopic? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
