HBO Orders ‘Westworld’ to Series

The latest TV project from J.J. Abrams and Bad Robot Productions, Westworld, has been ordered by HBO. The project is inspired by the movie of the same name which was written and directed by Michael Crichton and is described as a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin.

The project has an impressive cast already attached to it, including: Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Miranda Otto, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Angela Sarafyan, Simon Quarterman.

We don’t know much more about the series at this time, other than HBO created a Vine for it – which we have below.
