Executive Producer Julie Plec Talks ‘The Vampire Diaries’/ ‘The Originals’ Crossover

Fans of both The Vampire Diaries and The Originals have long-awaited a crossover episode and Julie Plec, executive producer on both series’, has finally shed some light on how that will be accomplished when the time comes.

When asked about what, if anything, is happening with the crossover Plec stated, “What we try to do is operate from a place of the rules where if we need to-if we’re doing something on The Vampire Diaries that would affect the rules of The Originals and vice versa-we try to create good story out of it. So I think of story crossover more than, you know, bringing an actor over.”
