Chris Rock Considering ‘Good Hair 2’ Following Halle Berry Drama
Chris Rock is considering a sequel to his 2009 documentary Good Hair after reading about Halle Berry’s court order banning ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry from straightening their daughter’s naturally-curly hair.
A judge ruled on Monday that neither the six year old’s mother nor father could change the girl’s style after the French-Canadian model recently decided to alter Nahla’s look by having her locks tamed and lightened with highlights, which did not sit well with Berry, who allegedly accused Aubry of trying to hide her African-American roots.
In 2009, Rock wrote and fronted a documentary about haircare in the African-American community and he feels it may be a good time to make a follow up.
He posted a link to an article about Berry’s case, and added the caption, “Looks like it’s time to film good hair 2”.
