Former ‘Gossip Girl’ Star Ed Westwick Scored Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Tickets Via Instagram
Ed Westwick was so eager to attend the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Tuesday that he resorted to social media to help him score tickets.
The lingerie company’s annual runway show is taking place in Westwick’s native London for the very first time, and the former Gossip Girl star wanted to make sure he didn’t miss out on the event.
But his request for tickets came a mere 24 hours prior to the show, so Westwick decided to take to Instagram to campaign for last-minute passes.
Sharing a photo of himself, he added the caption, “Dear @VictoriasSecret, The #VSFashionShow is finally in my hometown, squeeze me in? Love, Ed.”
Luckily, the executive producer of the show and Victoria’s Secret chief marketing officer Ed Razek came to the rescue, as Westwick later wrote on Twitter, “Thank you @ed_razek for answering my prayers. Looking forward to attending the #VSFashionShow on Tuesday night. @Ed_Razek is my hero.”
Westwick will be just one of the celebrities on hand for the star-studded event – Taylor Swift is set to return as the headliner for the second year in a row, while her pal Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande and Hozier will also take to the stage as some of the world’s top supermodels show off Victoria’s Secret’s latest designs.
The fashion show will be taped at Earls Court on Tuesday, and will air on December 9.
