‘Frozen’ Is iTunes’ Biggest Selling Movie of All Time

Frozen has become iTunes’ biggest-selling movie of all-time as the animated film’s soundtrack tops the Apple download service’s albums countdown for 2014.

The hit Disney movie tops the list for the best-selling films in 2014, ahead on The Wolf of Wall Street, while the soundtrack has beaten Taylor Swift’s 1989 to the top of the albums chart in the U.S.

Swift’s pal Ed Sheeran’s X was 2014’s bestselling album in the U.K., while Pharrell Williams’ Happy is the biggest single of the year in both markets.

Game of Thrones has been named bestselling TV show, and John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars is iTunes’ top book.

Meanwhile, iTunes’ end-of-year favorites include Beyonce (Best Artist), Taylor Swift (Best Album for 1989), Iggy Azalea (Best Song for Fancy), and Sam Smith (Best New Artist).

Other honors have gone to Jack White (Best Rock Album for Lazaretto), The War on Drugs (Best Alternative Album for Lost in the Dream), Little Big Town (Best Country album for Pain Killer), and Jennifer Hudson (Best R&B/Soul Album for JHud)
