We Now Know the Setting of ‘The Walking Dead’ Companion Series

We finally know where the setting of The Walking Dead companion series will be located after weeks of speculation.

TVLine has confirmed that in the companion series to the zombie apocalypse hit show, we’ll be following a new group of survivors across (*drum roll*)…Los Angeles!

Casting is still underway but we know that the cast thus far includes Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey. Cliff will play the series’ lead Sean Cabrera, described as “a teacher who shares a son with his ex-wife, Andrea. His character is described as a good man trying to do right by everyone in his life.” Alicia and Frank will portray the kids of yet-to-be-cast Nancy Tomkins, a guidance counselor who works at the school with Curtis’ Sean. Dillane’s character Nick has a drug abuse past and Carey will play ambitious Ashley.

No word on where the show will be filmed or a title yet, but hopefully we’ll learn both soon enough.
