Britney Spears Talks Eating Raw with ‘Women’s Health’
Britney Spears has developed a love for raw food as she works to keep her figure in check during her Las Vegas concert residency.
The superstar reveals she has taken to eating more of a raw diet recently, while keeping her energy up by snacking on “any kind of fruit” during her Britney: Piece of Me show at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
She tells Women’s Health magazine, “I’m really into raw food – sushi basically.”
Spears has also found the perfect fitness routine to keep her physique in top condition.
Showing off her toned body in a peach bikini, she explains, “I like my workouts to be effective in a short amount of time. I start with 20 minutes of intense cardio – usually running – move on to light free weights, body-weight exercises such as push-ups, squats, and sit-ups, then finish it off with a stretch.”
And the singer admits her high-energy stage show helps to keep the extra pounds off, too.
She adds, “Dancing is a great cardio workout. Tough and fun at the same time.”
However, there’s one sweet treat she can’t cut out of her diet.
The Louisiana native exclaims, “I love sweet tea!”
