‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ Is 2014’s Most Pirated Film

The Wolf of Wall Street has been named the most pirated film of 2014.

Martin Scorsese’s film starring Leonardo DiCaprio as real-life bad boy stockbroker Jordan Belfort was the most illegally downloaded movie of the year, according to piracy-tracking film Excipio.

The Oscar nominated movie, which grossed $392 million at the worldwide box office, was downloaded illegally 30 million times between January 1 and December 23.

Disney’s hit Frozen was second on the list at number two and space thriller Gravity came in at three, while The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and Thor: The Dark World rounded out the top five.
