Drake Apologized to Fabolous for ‘Rolling Stone’ Interview Dig

Drake offered an apology to fellow hip-hop star Fabolous after belittling him in a controversial magazine interview.

The rapper hit headlines earlier this year following the publication of his chat with Rolling Stone magazine, during which he criticized Kanye West’s last album Yeezus, and made an unflattering comparison to Fabolous’ work, saying, “There were some real questionable bars on there (West’s album)… Like that ‘Swaghili’ line? Come on, man. Even Fabolous wouldn’t say some s**t like that…”

Fabolous has now revealed Drake, who insisted his comments should have been off the record, later approached him to say sorry.

He tells MTV, “He (Drake) apologized that I was even brought into that whole mess. I was shocked. Out of that conversation where they were talking about Jay (Z) and Kanye, for my name to come up in that mix, it definitely seemed like it was spoken up. It’s over. It’s under the bridge. I got a lot of respect for what Drake does, and he’s expressed that to me personally. So we move on from there.”
