Shia LaBeouf’s Appearance in Sia’s New Video Is…Interesting

Shia LaBeouf’s latest bizarre performance art act involves the actor prowling, crawling and dancing around a cage with the young star of Sia’s acclaimed “Chandelier” video.

The bearded star features in Sia’s latest promo for “Elastic Heart,” wearing nothing but a pair of dirty, flesh-colored underpants.

A teaser to the video, released on Tuesday , suggested LaBeouf had stripped bare for a shower scene, but closer inspection reveals he’s not completely naked and the shower is in fact a cage, where he and young dancer Maggie Ziegler appear to compete in a dance-off.

The ripped Fury star, who ran a marathon around a museum in Holland and sat with fans for silent ‘interviews’ with a bag on his head for two odd performance art events last year, shows off his strength at one point in the video by climbing to the top of the domed cage and hanging over Ziegler’s wild child character, who lies exhausted beneath him.

The odd couple’s interpretive dance ends with Ziegler escaping through the bars of the cage and desperately trying to drag a sobbing LaBeouf with her.
