CW Announces Premiere Dates for ‘iZombie’ and ‘The Messengers’

At the Television Critics Association in Pasadena, CA, CW announced their midseason schedule including the premiere dates for iZombie and The Messengers.

iZombie, the newest series from Rob Thomas (creator of Veronica Mars), will premiere on Tuesday, March 17 at 9pm EST. With iZombie on Tuesdays, the Winchester brothers move to their new night as Supernatural returns to Wednesdays, beginning March 18, 9pm EST, the week after The 100 concludes its second season on Wednesday, March 11, 9pm EST.

The Messengers premieres on April 10 at 9pm EST. The new series follows the launch of the competition series Cedric’s Barber Battle at 8pm and then a new cycle of Whose Line Is It Anyway? at 8:30pm EST.

iZombie Official Description

In this appropriately dead-end job, she can secretly snack on the brains of the many Jane and John Doe corpses that make a final stop in the morgue. Liv remains resigned to an eternity without hope or purpose, until she realizes that with every brain she consumes, she retains a portion of that person’s memories, and she begins to experience visions from the point of view of the murder victims. It’s not the same as being alive again, but at least she can find purpose in her undead existence by helping to solve the murders of those who are indeed fully dead.
