Miley Cyrus Talks Wardrobe Choices, Lies and More in ‘Marie Claire’

Miley Cyrus will grace the February issue of Marie Claire with her presence and chats with the magazine about everything from what’s not worth her time or money to what she’ll lie about when she gets older.

The singer has been in the Hollywood game for years now but still has plenty to look forward to. “I’m 21, and I have a lot of options of what I could do in my life. And my next album is gonna be really fun. I think I’m going to do a lot of cool things by the time I’m only 25. Then I have longer to do some other really cool things.” On the other hand, she’s also learned from her experiences and is happy to leave certain things behind. “I had some shady wardrobe choices when I was about 16 to 18. I wore this hippie outfit to Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never premiere that I’m like, ‘Girl, who told you—it was not Woodstock, it was a premiere.'”

Miley held nothing back when she revealed what she’s going to start lying about eventually telling the mag, “I’m definitely gonna lie about my age at some point. Even though people are gonna already know how old I am.” That’s probably the only thing she will lie about though seeing as how she’s “too honest.”

One thing Miley’s years in the business have taught her is what is and isn’t worth her money. So what is? “Good art,” she stated. “[Like] the Ryan McGinley I just bought at the amfAR auction.” And what’s not worth her time or money? “It doesn’t really count because it’s always free, but: people’s fucking opinions.” Welp!
