AMC’s New ‘The Walking Dead’ Showcases Tons of Gore

The Walking Dead‘s return is upon us and we finally have a promo with clips from the second half of the season and they look…messy.

When we return, Rick and the gang are still on the move, camping out and taking shelter when and where they can, since their last few housing choices didn’t work out too well. Judging from the trailer, the group shows no signs of slowing or settling in the second half of the show’s fifth season and there’s walker-gore galore. Rick drives right through a horde of walkers in a car, Michonne appears to stumble on some sicko’s work, finding a massive littering of spliced and diced walker parts (gross) and Maggie finds an old rotting walker in a closet. Judging from what we’re shown in the trailer, it looks like we should all get accustomed to seeing walker innards (unless you already are by this far along in the game).

Watch the trailer below and let us know your theories in the comments:

Be sure to catch The Walking Dead‘s return on February 8th at 9/8c on AMC.

FanBolt will be traveling to San Francisco at the end of the month to host Walker Stalker Live! and chat with the cast, so stay tuned to our social media accounts (@Fanbolt, @EmmaLoggins, @TheJasmineAlyce) to see what we find out about what’s to come!

  1. Looks good but just once I’d like to see them release a promo where Carl at least puts it a damn cameo. He IS a part of the group after all.
