Daniel Craig Injured on ‘Spectre’ Set

Filming on the new James Bond movie Spectre was delayed after actor Daniel Craig injured his knee during a fight scene.

The 007 star was filming a dramatic action sequence at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England when he was hurt, prompting producers to halt the shoot.

A source tells Britain’s The Sun newspaper, “Bond bosses would have been panicking. Film deadlines are so tight, any sort of delay can bring mayhem to the schedules. The extras were simply told, ‘You can go home – Daniel’s injured his knee.'”

A spokesperson for the film has revealed Craig suffered a minor sprain and should be fit to resume work later this week, saying, “Daniel Craig sustained a knee sprain this week while shooting a fight sequence on the set of Spectre. He will be filming on Saturday as planned.”

Spectre will also star Christoph Waltz, David Bautista, and Andrew Scott, and two new Bond girls, played by Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux.
