‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Star Dakota Johnson Has Her Doubts About the Film
Dakota Johnson had doubts about accepting her role in Fifty Shades of Grey and still worries the decision could send her career in the wrong direction.
The star plays a submissive student seduced by a bondage-obsessed businessman in the new film, which is based on E.L. James’ erotic novel of the same name, and she is still not convinced she made the right choice by taking on the controversial role.
In an interview with British magazine Stella, she is asked if she had doubts, and Johnson replies, “Yes. Of course. Absolutely The whole time. Even now there are moments when I think, ‘What the f**k have I done?’ But most of the time I feel pretty solid about it.”
Johnson recently revealed that she has banned her parents, Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, from seeing the film, as well as her brother and all his friends.
